Confidential Information includes all non-public information shared during our engagement, whether in writing, verbally, or electronically - this includes source code, business strategies, technical architecture, financial information, customer data, and any proprietary materials.
Anything you share with us to build, test, or support your project - including credentials, data samples, and internal documentation - is treated as Confidential Information by default, whether or not it is explicitly marked as such.
Our Obligations
We keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential and do not disclose it to any third party without your prior written consent.
Confidential Information is used solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed project or service - never for any unrelated purpose.
Access to your Confidential Information is limited to the specific team members actually working on your project, on a need-to-know basis.
AI Tools & Your Data
Where we use AI-assisted development or automation tools as part of building your project, your proprietary code, business data, and confidential materials are not used to train third-party AI models.
If a specific AI/automation feature within your own project requires processing your data through a third-party AI service (e.g. an LLM API), this is disclosed and agreed with you as part of the project scope - it is never done silently.
What Is Not Confidential
Information that is already public, or becomes public through no fault of ours, is not treated as confidential.
Information we lawfully already had, or receive from another source without restriction, is not covered by this policy.
Data Protection & Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards - including access controls and encryption where appropriate - to protect your sensitive information.
Credentials and access shared with us for development or support are stored securely and revoked once no longer needed.
After the Engagement Ends
Upon completion or termination of a project, confidential materials and access credentials are returned or securely deleted, unless you ask us to retain something specific (e.g. for ongoing maintenance).
Our confidentiality obligations survive the end of the engagement - they don't expire just because the project is finished.
